What data we process

When you visit our shop, call us, or contact us via WhatsApp, we may process the following data: your name, phone number, and — for gold buying or appraisal — a copy of your ID document (legally required under the Dutch Wwft anti-money-laundering act). This website itself does not collect personal data through forms — there is no contact form and no account function.

Purposes

We use your data solely to answer your question, schedule an appointment, complete a transaction, or comply with legal obligations (such as the Wwft when buying gold).

Legal basis

Processing is based on your consent, the performance of a contract, or a legal obligation. Loading external services such as Google Maps requires your prior consent through the cookie banner.

Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your data. We share data with third parties only when legally required (for instance with the Tax Authority or competent authorities) or with our technical service providers (such as our hosting provider) under a data processing agreement.

Retention

We retain your data no longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law. For gold-buying records the statutory retention period is five years.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. You also have the right to restrict processing, to data portability, and to object to processing. Please send your request to the address above or call us. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
